All about golf ball

The golf ball has two sorts. One is a practice ball which is used on the driving range and the other is a competition ball which is used at the golf games. All balls have a number so you will recognize them. A driving-range is a covered place where you can practice all your swings. If you lose a ball you are not allowed to search for a ball longer than 5 minutes, otherwise you will stop the progress of the game. There are a number of types and varieties which can be very confusing when you want to buy golf balls. You can choose from hard balls and softer balls.

Hard balls are usually used by golfers with a handicap over 12. The reasons why handicaps over 12 are mostly using these balls are because they are usually cheaper, they go further with lower swing speeds, they are more resilient and they have lower spin rates.

Softer balls are for golfers with a handicap of 12 and below. Most lower-handicappers choose for a softer ball, because the player will receive more feedback, more backspin can be obtained, and the pitches and chips can be better judged.

If you really would like to have a good ball, it will be better to take a ball which is from a good brand, because they usually have a good consistency.
